The Problem We're Solving
Like many of you, I've experienced the frustration of ambitious goals dying in my notes app. Every Sunday, we plan. Every Monday, meetings take over. By Friday, we realize another week passed without progress on what actually matters. Sound familiar?
I'm Dillon Doherty, founder of Alleo.ai. A few years ago, I found myself stuck in this exact cycle—rebuilding after a failed venture, working a job that didn't align with my values, living with my parents, and watching my goals collect dust while my calendar filled with everything except what mattered.
The Journey to Alleo
That frustration led to years of obsessive research into a question that wouldn't leave me alone: What would it take to build software that actually helps people achieve their goals? Not another task app. Not another AI chatbot. But a true life optimization system.
I spent years coaching people one-on-one, studying behavioral psychology, and modeling what actually drives human progress. I learned that the gap between planning and doing isn't a personal failing—it's a systems problem. Your goals live in one place (notes, task apps) while your time lives in another (calendar). That gap is where ambitions go to die.
What We're Building
Today, Alleo bridges that gap with conversational planning that turns any goal—even vague ones like “get healthier” or “launch my side project”—into scheduled calendar blocks in minutes. But this is just the beginning.
We're building toward something bigger: a life optimization system that learns your patterns, understands your context, and actively helps you make progress on what matters most. Think of it as having a deeply intelligent system that:
- Understands your goals, habits, and priorities as an interconnected whole
- Optimizes your time and attention toward what will actually improve your life
- Acts on your behalf to remove friction and create momentum
- Adapts as you grow and your priorities evolve
Our Approach
We believe technology should enhance human agency, not add more lists to manage. That's why we're obsessively focused on one metric: Are people's lives actually getting better? This means:
- Starting with quick wins that prove value in minutes, not months
- Building features that create real behavior change, not just track intentions
- Never compromising on what's genuinely best for users, even when other paths might be more profitable
The Team
Small, focused, and relentlessly user-centered.

Where We're Headed
We're early in our journey, but our vision is clear: become the default operating system for ambitious professionals who refuse to let their important goals die in their notes app.
In the next year, we're evolving from a scheduling tool to a comprehensive life optimization platform. Within five years, we aim to help a million people achieve measurable improvements in their lives.
